The Tori Amos concert was wonderful. It was like a trip to Disney World! My mother would have gotten a migraine and thrown up, probably, due to all the light displays. But the lighting was very pretty and magical. Tori was very intense and the energy was so strong I was on the edge of my seat. My neck got sore:( Michael switched seats with me since I am short and could not see. We met up with Izzy and Matt, who were just two rows in front of us. They are really nice:) I hugged Izzy and I'm
very selective about who I let touch me. Her hugs are nice. She was really beautiful. Unfortunately my mother's camera's batteries ran out right after we took a picture of the theater from outside!:( So hopefully Izzy will send me her Tori pictures, and the picture of her and me, and of Michael and me. I'm sure they got better pictures than I would have gotten, anyway. I can't wait to see Tori Amos again! I also liked her opening band, One Eskimo.
Here is her setlist for the Chicago concert, via Izzy:
( Her Set List )Precious Things was my favorite:-)
We actually had an easy time finding my mother for pick up, which was surprising and relieving. Next time we want to go to that area we can take the Metra train, but I didn't know it went to that area. Oh well. And while waiting for my mother Michael and I saw a little puppet show with animals and I tipped them a dollar. It was so cute!
This is what it was:
http://puppetbike.com/Though I didn't eat or drink all day in preparation for Tori's concert and because I get nervous doing new things or going new places. This morning when I tried to get up I collapsed and couldn't see except for a doughnut of light. Michael helped me back into bed and got me water and a graham cracker.
