When Michael and I were Christmas shopping for a friend, he bought me a very cute webkinz I love: http://customerservice.webkinz.com/collectionscatalog/us_en/blufadoodle_1.html

I also have these two, a unicorn and a small white rabbit:

I think I gave Amber the Pegasus years ago...

I'm trying to not collect too many more stuffed animals or My Little Ponies because I already have too many:-/

Chrono Trigger on Super Nintendo! My brother and I used to play that game over and over, trying to get all the endings. Marle was my favorite, but I also really liked Frog. I love the music and have a copy of the soundtrack. I love that game and Michael will probably buy it on Nintendo DS:-)

Relaxing

Well, Fruits Basket made me feel a lot better:-) As did finally getting out of a stuck place in the Nintendo DS game I'm playing ("My World, My Way"). Klonopin helped me focus on reading earlier, but it would be worn off by now, I think. I'm about to start reading The Little White Horse which should also be uplifting. I'm going to try and make sure I do fun activities when I'm feeling really neurotic and out of control. Sometimes they do help, especially if someone else is with me. Though hopefully my medication increase will also help my moods from being all over the place. I've been listening to Tori Amos today, of course. Specifically the cd "Boys for Pele."

For me, personally, I would relive age four because even in elementary school I had extreme nostalgia for age four. Despite my father's alcoholism and my family's financial problems, I had a very happy early childhood overall.

For going back further in time, I would choose to see the ancient Minoan (pre-Greek) Civilization because I've been fascinated by it for many years and would like to see what the daily life was like. There's still a lot of mysteries behind this civilization.

I am feeling hypomanic today, filled with energy. I didn't take klonopin or anything. I feel very energetic and with thoughts racing. I feel like everything will turn out all right and everything is great. Unfortunately these feelings lead me to order a very expensive doll (Pullip, as I've been talking about). Her name is ALa.

Here she is: http://www.thevalleyofthedolls.com/dollshop.php/Pullip/ALa

I like that she has brown hair and brown eyes like me:-) I considered another doll named Aquel but I felt she looked too similar to Alice for my first full-sized Pullip doll. The money will come out of my savings account:-( I'm hoping after the holidays I go back to saving money...

I have decided that once my finances let up a few months from now, I'm going to buy a full-sized Pullip doll (or of a different doll line by the same maker). There are so many I like, though, that I'm very undecided. I'm really excited about it, even if they are quite expensive. It's all my newest obsession. I like the dolls that look fantasy-like or "Lolita" style (in Japan) where they have lots of pastel colors and frills. The more trendy looking ones aren't for me. At least that limits the ones I'm tempted to buy;-) I also intend to just keep them in the outfits they come in. I probably won't buy additional clothing. I suppose I could eventually make an exception for a more fantasy or Lolita-ish outfit, but I won't be looking for them actively, I doubt.

Dolls

I have never much cared for most dolls. Ever since I was five and caught my mother watching the horror movie Dolls they have scared me. However, I have been looking into Pullips and Blythe dolls for a couple months now. They're too expensive for me, but they have some petite/little versions that are less expensive. I might get one of those. I like their big eyes and anime features. Some of them have cute hair and costumes. I added a few of the petite dolls on my amazon wishlist, though I didn't rank them according to how much I want them because I really don't know how to compare them to books, dvd's, etc. Hopefully I will get one someday. I'm not going to start a collection and I don't have room for a collection -- I just want one in a style I like. I don't know if I have a favorite at the moment... I'm trying to save money/recuperate money now, anyways, so it will probably be a few more months until I buy my doll, anyways (at least until after the new year and longer than that if I get more contacts).

This is a picture post of things I love. It's very image-heavy, so you might want to skip over it if your connection is slow.

I came across this website using Stumble Upon. It has some of the cutest animal pictures I have ever seen!

Edit: And they even have a picture of an English Angora bunny! I have wanted one since I saw them at the county fair when I was about 18.

I have a Winnie the Pooh shower curtain, and apparently if it's left a certain way it looks rather... questionable? It's actually Piglet's arm, but it looks like something else.

I am going to have to draw some pictures of the Childlike Empress. She is my favorite character of all time *_* In the novel, The Neverending Story she is described as looking no older than ten with golden eyes, eyebrows like thin lines of India ink, and long white hair. She wears a very long white gown and lives on giant magnolia blossoms that curl up when she is away.

Bad Day

It seems a lot of people are not having a good day today (or yesterday, since for some of us it is now just a couple hours into a new day). I hope tomorrow/today goes better. I hope I get a few things done. I didn't go to bed until 8:30am yesterday, so my sleeping schedule is still way off (partly due to family stress and partly due to the fact that my circadian rhythms are always off and most sleeping pills don't work on me). I made a few icons at abi-station. My computer was reformatted and I lost the original icon I made. I like the one I made to replace it, but I think my face is more round than the face in the first picture shown. I plan on getting a digital camera so I can take pictures that I can draw and paint. I also want to take a bunch of pictures of myself to A. Get over my fear of having my picture taken B. To have some semi-decent, semi-recent pictures of myself and C. To give me the opportunity to pick
pictures that I like and that are somewhat good and disgard the rest (I often only have one or two pictures of me per year and I'm not particularly photogenic, so often my pictures don't come out really looking like me for one reason or another -- often lighting problems, me making goofy faces, etc.) I'm going to get a cheap one, though, because I'm cursed when it comes to technology and the pictures will only really be for my own amusement.

I have absolutely no concept of time at all, and have no real interest in anything about it (unless I'm bored or impatient, that is). But this is a really neat site on how to calculate what day of the week a certain date occurred. It shows you how to alter your calculations depending on the century (though, obviously, there is a limit to this). I've been reading about different calendar systems in my book on Atlantis, so I thought it would be interesting to take a look at calendar patterns. I don't plan on it becoming a major perseveration anytime soon, though;)

I was looking at a list of groups on Yahoo and one of them is entitled "Proud_Virgins." It states "This is an outlet for virgins to come out of the closet. Feel at ease discussing issues, concerns, experiments you have as a virgin." I'm guessing it meant "experiences," but somehow that's less interesting :-P
