It seems a lot of people are not having a good day today (or yesterday, since for some of us it is now just a couple hours into a new day). I hope tomorrow/today goes better. I hope I get a few things done. I didn't go to bed until 8:30am yesterday, so my sleeping schedule is still way off (partly due to family stress and partly due to the fact that my circadian rhythms are always off and most sleeping pills don't work on me). I made a few icons at abi-station. My computer was reformatted and I lost the original icon I made. I like the one I made to replace it, but I think my face is more round than the face in the first picture shown. I plan on getting a digital camera so I can take pictures that I can draw and paint. I also want to take a bunch of pictures of myself to A. Get over my fear of having my picture taken B. To have some semi-decent, semi-recent pictures of myself and C. To give me the opportunity to pick
pictures that I like and that are somewhat good and disgard the rest (I often only have one or two pictures of me per year and I'm not particularly photogenic, so often my pictures don't come out really looking like me for one reason or another -- often lighting problems, me making goofy faces, etc.) I'm going to get a cheap one, though, because I'm cursed when it comes to technology and the pictures will only really be for my own amusement.

I wonder how much those avatars really look like you. I can't wait to see what you look like! ;)

What is huge/hideous/abominable to you (again, in general) may be barely noticeable to someone else. I have spent many years obsessing over a nose I saw as horrendously huge, acne, "bulgy" eyes, a Michelin Man chin, etc. In recent years I've realized that others probably don't notice because I'm blowing them out of proportion and they're probably too worried about their own flaws to notice!
