Vanquishing the Negativity

I want to be easygoing. I want to just let things happen as they will and not try to force any sort of outcome. People will sometimes let you down, but it doesn't have to be the end of the world. I'm going to try really hard to block someone from my life. Hopefully no more secrets will be revealed that make me feel like I'm going to vomit. He's in the past. He's not an especially good person. Everything he gave me I can get from other people. Everything I gave him I can give to more deserving people. I won't love less, just more carefully. Maybe this is even bringing me and another friend closer together. Maybe if there are such things as destiny and karma, the bad things that happened served a more happy purpose. I will try to still be an optimist. I will still appreciate life.

Being easy-going can often take time, though, especially when you're used to people being untrustworthy, unreliable or just plain not good friends. I wish you luck, though. :/
