Journey through Faerieland

I'm feeling a bit nostalgic for my apartment right now, that I lived in fall 2004-fall 2005. Sometimes I was still unstable or depressed or too clingy, but I was also happy a lot of the time. I first got to know Michael there and he introduced me to a lot of new topics to study, books to read, music to listen to, and anime series to watch. We also played some video games (we have to get back to playing Persona sometime soon!) I liked the layout of the apartment and how light and airy it was. I miss being that young, too. I don't feel I've sufficiently matured or accomplished enough for my age. I don't miss everything about that time period at all, just a lot of things. But I tend to get nostalgia a lot.

I finally have a digital camera and am in the process of trying to figure out how it works. I took a picture of one of the cute dogs that I'm with right now (Maddy). A Shih-tzu with little pink bows in her hair:) I also took a bunch of myself which was very difficult. I looked into a mirror to see how the image was focusing as I snapped the picture. I'm sure there's a better way to do this, but I'm still figuring out how the camera works. I added my pictures to photobucket. Be warned, though, I was concentrating so hard on trying to figure out whether the camera was focusing on me that I'm doing rather weird things with my mouth in most of my pictures-_-' My face also doesn't look nearly as round as usual and I'm wondering if that's partially due to my weight-loss. I'm trying to regain by eating cookie dough^_^

Also, we leased an apartment for me today. Yay! It's discounted because of the economy. A lot of people have been buying instead of renting property lately, so apartment prices at a lot of places have gone down (at least where I live). I can have two cats^_^
