Valentines Day -- Like or Dislike

Usually I'm indifferent to Valentine's Day, but I'm trying to be more positive about life and find events to look forward to, since I'm recovering from a bad depression. So in this case, Michael and I will have a pretty big Valentine's Day celebration, if all goes well:-) And there will be pictures for my scrapbook! I wish I currently had more money to buy a lot of friends something for Valentine's Day.

Well, I've never had a romantic attachment, and I doubt I ever will. It shouldn't bother me as much as it does.

When I was a kid in grade school I liked it, because we'd have a little party in class and everyone would give each other those little valentine cards.

When I was old enough that everyone else my age was dating, I found it depressing because I didn't have a significant other to celebrate it with, like everyone else seemed to.

Now that I do have a significant other, I find it depressing because it always seems to come around at a time that I don't have the money to do anything special for her. : / She deserves so much better.
