Willowbrook Wildlife Center

Today Michael and I went to the Willowbrook Wildlife Center. We pet a cute rat:-) The rabbits were being too skittish to be taken out. There are lots of animals there, some endangered or threatened species. It hasn't been super hot today and rained for awhile. I like the rain, though. It was fun to get out and see animals and go on nature trails. It's not far from my house and we spent about an hour there. I remember going to this place all the time as a child with my mother and brother. We had fun and will hopefully return soon.

I'm glad you had fun. I love seeing cute (and neat) animals. Rabbits do tend to be a bit skittish to be picked up unless their babies. I have two adult rabbits, and both hate to be picked up. Of course I never handled them much, so they're not used to it, but I don't think rabbits like it in general.

Anyway, I'm glad you had fun!!

I want to own rabbits someday:) These rabbits like people, they just don't like the transition of being removed from their cage onto the table.
