No, I don't know if I have gastritis right now, but it's possible. I found out from my most recent doctor visit with a new doctor that my endoscopy from last year showed gastritis. My doctor who did the endoscopy told me all my tests came back normal! Gastritis may not usually be a very serious thing, but it's tied to stomach ulcers and I had stomach ulcers in the past (which was a major reason I had the endoscopy in the first place). So that might have been why my symptoms worsened a little over a year ago, and it seems possible that's happened again. I was given some kind of IBS medication for muscle spasms to see if it helps my abdominal pain at night. The first night it didn't and I woke my mother up with my yelling (I stayed at her house). Last night was better, but the pain started up again an hour or two ago. I am taking the chemo nasuea medication more often now, every time before eating, and it's helping me to at least eat some solid foods and not vomit. I do have other nausea/digestive medications to switch over to once my eating has become more normalized again. I'm still sleeping odd hours from the pain and fatigue.
