I'm still working on that painting of Alaska. I've decided I need to redo the colors of the tree. I'm going to make it more golden with some reds (maybe even purplish highlights), to make it more autumn-like and to stand out from the fields in back (which I muted). The tree is up close and just too bland. It's an issue! I'll be working on that this afternoon.
