Another Computer Question

How do I make sure a cd-r of images can be read by both pc and mac computers? Are jpegs readable by both? I have a pc. Thank you, anyone who answers!

jpegs are fine for both. I use a mac at home and a pc at work (because I need to carry on using windows somewhere) and I can view the cd's I burn at home, at work
