I've always described each person as being like an entire world in themselves, which is partly why I become so enamored with people, but it's also why it's so painful to "break up" with that person/no longer have a relationship with them. You lose an entire world. Even if you still have good memories, the world is shattered in a way, from my perspective. I find people fascinating.
