This is very complicated for me because I usually give second chances, and more often than not I've been taken advantage of for it. On the other hand I have often needed second chances. I do, however, make a strong effort to change. I'd say a hesitant, yes, people deserve second chances, but depending on what occurred you might not be able to have the other person in your life anymore, at least for awhile. People need time to change usually.
