This afternoon/evening Michael and I went to the Bon Dancing Festival at Mitsuwa Marketplace. It was really crowded at first and I had to take a Klonopin to deal with the crowds (which was rather unfortunate, as my obsessions were rather under control). I considered buying some of the food there at the festival, but last time I ate Asian food at a festival I vomited and it looked like they were putting on a lot of spices... So instead I ate a pork cutlet sandwich from the grocery store part of the marketplace. I also had an interesting strawberry drink by the name "Calpico." It was really hot at first, but cooled off. Unfortunately not many things were being sold, but there were cute masks. Michael offered to buy me one, but I turned him down (later regretting it). I wish I'd gotten a My Melody mask and Michael wanted a bear mask, but they'd all sold out by the time we reconsidered the idea. There was drumming early on and later at 6:30pm they had the Bon dancing, honoring the deceased. A lot of women were wearing kimonos (and some the matching shoes) and it made me want a kimono. Maybe someday I will buy one, but I wouldn't be able to wear it out as much like with my Chinese dress... Michael left as soon as we arrived back home and I already miss him. I hate being alone... At least I have my cats.
