The Nutcracker Ballet

I recently got back from the ballet. Michael forgot his glasses so we had to drive back home, but we made it to the ballet with still extra time. It was extremely crowded, which made me overload and zone out a bit. I bought a nutcracker but I was overloaded so I just picked the one nearest to me instead of inquiring about the price of the taller ones (only $1 more) or looking at the different designs to pick out my favorite. During intermission Michael went and bought a nutcracker I liked better, so we traded. I will take pictures of both and hopefully show them here:-)

The ballet was amazing! I haven't seen it since kindergarten. I loved it, the music, the performers, the colors, everything. I'm so glad we went. I even like the picture on the guide. Michael focused well on the ballet, too, despite his OCD. I will have to see this ballet again next year. I want to go to Swan Lake at some point too. I like swan maidens.

I really miss ballet. Maybe someday I will take adult classes again, after my finances are sorted out and I don't need to see a therapist anymore (which is expensive). In the meantime I'll do stretches and maybe learn some yoga.
