Church Interior Painting, Sanctuary
Dec. 22nd, 2007 04:17 pmI recently did a painting of a church interior, as a request. The painting is called Sanctuary and there are two small children entering the church. They are supposed to look small and lost, the church is supposed to look overwhelming and luminous. Some churches are really huge, and I wanted this church to seem kind of big, but a friend thought the proportions might be off, where the children are too small compared to the church. Should I make the children large, or leave it as is? Or change something else?
please keep in mind I am a terrible photographer; the photograph of my painting is slightly tilted, the lines on my painting are not that crooked. I will take a better picture when I am more finished with the painting.
